Which tests should I take?

A general check-up based on your complaints. The test list arrives by email.

13–15 questions · 3 minutes

What this questionnaire is

The questionnaire helps you build a list of tests for a general check-up. You answer questions about how you feel, your sleep, digestion and lifestyle, and we put together the basic set that makes sense for any adult plus additions for your complaints. The list is built from a general medical history (your answers) and from the 12 body systems of the optim8 app: hormones, metabolism, inflammation, blood, liver, kidneys, nutrients, stress, heart, brain, gut and immunity. The questionnaire is educational and advisory and is not a medical service. It is not screening and not a diagnosis: in large trials, general health checks on their own did not lower mortality, so the list is a prompt for a conversation with your doctor, not a diagnosis or a guarantee.

When it helps

  • You have not had blood tests for a long time, or never
  • You are bothered by fatigue, poor sleep, brain fog or mood swings
  • You do not know where to start: a blood count, hormones or vitamins
  • You want to arrive at the lab with a ready list instead of a random set

Worth knowing

  • The list does not replace a doctor and does not make a diagnosis
  • With warning signs (chest pain, blood in the stool, unexplained weight loss) a doctor comes first, and the questionnaire will tell you so
  • No list is built for pregnant women or people with serious diagnoses: it is better to discuss tests with a doctor first
  • Your answers stay in the browser; only sex, age and the complaints you chose go to email, and only with your consent
Which tests should I take?

These tests are a self-assessment tool, not a medical diagnosis. Results don't replace a doctor's consultation — a real picture needs actual bloodwork.
